Colleen,

Please add the opener/closer training manual here.

To start editing, click on the 'edit' tab at the top of the page.  Click 'Save page' at the bottom of the text box to save your changes often.

You'll notice that as you use different headings in the drop-down, the wiki will create a nice outline with links to different sections.  Makes it very nice for members to quickly skip from section to section and search for what they are looking for more effectively.

For example, I've added the headings below to show you what I mean...I've also included some instructions for how to use bounce back and forth from 'Disable rich editor' (blue link above this text box) and the 'Rich editor' to format the information you are adding.  See below for more details.

Use the equal signs to make the headings...Heading 1

  1. Create a numbered list using a pound symbol in 'Disable Rich Editor' mode.
    1. Indent a subset of a numbered list using 2 pound symbols in 'Disabled Rich Editor' mode.
  • Create a bullet in 'Disable Rich Editor' mode by using an asterisks.
    • Indent under a bullet using 2 asterisks in 'Disabled Rich Editor' mode.
      • Click on the 'Rich Editor' from 'Disable Rich Editor' mode to see if the formatting you did is correct.
      • Make sure to click the 'Save Page' button at the bottom of the page to save your changes, or they will disappear when you leave the page.  :) I've found that out the hard way.
  1. here's using a pound symbol

Heading 2 (Use 2 equal signs in disabled mode)

You can also use the rich editor buttons in the text box to do the formatting, but i've found that the wiki is very 'finicky' and it can mess things up, so I always have to use the 'Disable Rich Editor' mode to fix things or to get it to do what I actually want it to do.

Heading 3 (Use 3 equal signs in disabled mode)

Heading 4

I sometimes use the 'Disable rich editor' link to fix formatting issues that this 'Rich Text Editor' doesn't allow me to do.  Also, if you copy and paste things from one area of the document to another, it's best to swich it to 'Disable Rich Editor' and copy from there, so that your formatting will not get all messed up.  You'll find all of this out while you're fooling around with it though.  :)

Let me know if you have any problems editing.
